December 2005 Meeting
CHRISTMAS PARTY
At the December meeting we had our Christmas Party. Everybody arrived early to put out the food etc., but the hall was locked and in darkness. We waited till 7:30 but no hall keeper turned up. So after finding out the person had let us down, we where stuck, until Keith turned up and saved the day. His wife had the key to the church hall in Mauchline, and we could go there. She had saved the day and we all thank her for coming to our rescue.
We had a very good party with Maira doing her usual quizzes, and the food was excellent. At the end of the evening, Alan Sidaway was presented with a very fine picture for getting most points in the table shows during 2005
